Our Salon Policies
At our Salon, we thrive on providing each and every client who walks through the doors the best possible service we can offer. Our policies are in place to ensure everyone enjoys their experience at Lashes & Brows By Laura.
COVID 19 POLICY

You must not enter our salon if you have ANY symptoms of Corona Virus, or if you have been in close contact with anyone who is experiencing symptoms or has now tested positive with the virus.

We recommend you book your appointments in advance, name and contact details are required for our online booking system & for us to contact you should we need to.

Hand sanitiser must be used before entrance into the salon, you will find this at the bottom of the stairs as you enter, hand sanitiser is also at located at different areas of the salon.

Please observe social distancing with other clients in the salon and our team with the exception of the therapist who will be wearing full PPE.

Please ensure you wear a face covering throughout your visit in the salon for your own safety and the safety of others, if you do not bring a face covering you will be required to purchase one of our disposable face masks.

Please arrive at your appointment alone unfortunately children are prohibited from the salon for their own safety, guests not receiving a treatment will be asked to leave until you're appointment has finished.

CHILDREN IN THE SALON

We have a no children policy at Lashes & Brows by Laura due to Health and Safety regulations. Sharp tools and chemical products are in regular use and the therapist can not carry out the treatment if they also need to regard the safety of your child.
We as a salon would like you to relax and unwind during your beauty treatment and have consideration of other guests therefore should you arrive with children the appointment would need to be rescheduled. We thank you for understanding this matter.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We require 24 hours notice if your appointment needs to be cancelled or rescheduled, the appointment is reserved especially for you and whilst we understand that cancellations cannot be avoided at times we also require time to fill that appointment. Your appointment reminder is sent via our booking system 24 hours prior and an email is sent 48 hours prior and directly after the booking has been made.

CANCELLATION FEES

As the appointments are reserved for you personally, a cancellation fee of 50% of the service amount will be applied to your next appointment should you fail to give 24 hours notice.
No shows will be charged at 100% of the service amount, no further treatments can be booked until the outstanding amount has been paid in full.

Our Training Academy has a separate cancellation policy and this is explained in the terms and conditions email provided after the booking has been made.

DEPOSIT REQUESTS

At Lashes & Brows by Laura we provide a consultation appointment for all NEW clients for any treatments booked, this is our chance to patch test products but to also capture your desired end result and recommend the treatments required to achieve this. At this appointment we will take a £20 deposit, this will be deducted from the final price at the end of the appointment.

Our Training Academy has a separate deposit request policy and this is explained in the terms and conditions email provided after the booking has been made.

ARRIVING LATE

Unfortunately appointments can not be extended by the amount of time you are late due to appointments arriving after you. Your appointment has an allocated time frame and will end at the designated time. The agreed price of the appointment will remain the same.

PATCH TESTING

At Lashes & Brows by Laura your health and safety is paramount therefore we have a patch testing policy in place. A consultation appointment will be made at least 48 hours prior to any NEW treatment being performed, this is to ensure you do not have a positive reaction to the products used but to also help the therapist understand any contraindications that may prevent the treatment from going ahead.
The accuracy of a patch test can vary by the amount of product used, some positive reactions are not developed by a patch test however we believe they will identify most irritations and therefore is a policy we adhere to.
